This year’s Celebration of the Arts fundraiser will take place on Saturday, April 18th at 7:00pm and will be like nothing you’ve experienced before. This year’s event is student planned and led and will showcase a variety of performances highlighting the talents of Oostburg students.

Attendees can look forward to an evening filled with creativity and inspiration, as we come together to appreciate the diverse artistic expressions that enrich our community.

  • OES students plant raised gardens

    Kindergarten, third and fourth grade students worked together to prepare the Oostburg Elementary School raised gardens for bulb planting this fall. Thank you to OCEF (Oostburg Community Education Fund) and Oostburg Lumber for providing the financial

  • Cardio Drumming during OES Summer Camp

    Kids using the OCEF funded Cardio Drumming Materials during our OES Summer Camp program.

  • OES Furniture Enables Learning

    With a need for more small group learning space, OCEF funded the purchase of tables and booths for the Elementary School Quad (space previously under-utilized). This allows teachers in any grade flexibility for small group learning or intervention-type teaching. It looks like a winning idea!

  • Oostburg High Tech Ed. department

    Here, two students at Oostburg High School use the 3D printer donated by OCEF to build and print projects in the TECH ED department.

  • Oostburg High School Ibake

    Ibake is a small club at Oostburg High for transitional students to learn important life skills of not only baking but learning how to run a working store and important customer service skills. OCEF donated Aprons and other important baking tools to the Ibake Class.

  • Oostburg Elementary Hydroponics

    OES 3rd & 4th graders have been growing marigold plants in our OCEF-funded hydroponics unit in the spring. Students take the plants home and care for them over the summer and then bring seeds from the flowers back to school in the fall. Those same seeds are then planted in the hydroponics unit the following spring! The circle of life continues!

  • OHS Student Mentorship Program (SMP)

    SMP helps new students—especially freshmen and transfers—adjust to high school life. By pairing them with supportive upperclassmen mentors, the program fosters guidance, friendship, and connection within the OHS community.

  • Music Composition

    The Music Composition Class purchased and updated equipment to give students the best tools for learning music creation and production. This will provide hands-on experience with industry-standard gear, helping students explore composition, recording, mixing, and mastering like never before.

  • New List Item

    The High School Business Education Department upgraded computers and broadcasting equipment to give students hands-on experience with modern technology. These improvements help students learn the ins and outs of broadcasting, preparing them for real-world careers in media and communication.
